Group A of UEFA Euro 1996 was one of four groups involved in UEFA Euro 1996, held in venues around England. Group A matches were played at Wembley Stadium, London, and Villa Park, Birmingham.The first match was played on 8 June 1996, while the final games took place simultaneously on 18 June 1996. The group consisted of England, Switzerland, Netherlands and Scotland.
